Project Brief:
This is a very difficult project, but there is only one requirement from the customer: Make it look good!
It took our designers three days for making the 3D design, in order to make the helicopter looks as close as original. Most of time was spent on making sure our design was able to meet the requirement of the molding. The result is very amazing, and the best part is the big propellers is able to rotate!
It is one of the BEST custom USB we ever made!
The Challenge:
- It took time and experience to make build the 3D models, and make it look as close as the original;
- there are so many details that are beyond the capability of the molding. We need to work ways around in order to achieve our design.
- there are many small parts that are easy to break during transportation. We will need to custom made a package to protect them
The Solution:
What we have is only a 2D blue print from the customers. In order to recreate the details, we google the internet upside down so as to get enough references. And back with years of custom USB experiences, we utilize the best of the molding technology and make the design alive and easy for mass production.
